The property was ideally situated a 10-15 minute walking distance from Zurich. Moreover, it was adjacent to bars and restaurants, all the main attractions in Zurich, great breakfast, newly renovated, helpful staff and usual areas surrounding train stations very up market.

location is actually great. central. a big top.
We had deliberately booked for 2 adults and a nine year old. That was also confirmed. On site we got a 1.60 m wide bed, which should be enough for the three of us. When asked, we were assured that it was ok. An extra bed would not have fit in the room anyway, because it was so small that it was not even possible to open the suitcase without having to climb over it. Ok for the central location, but difficult for three. No one wanted to give us an extra blanket - to sleep on the floor with one person. So the three of us slept in bed, one of whom had to lie across at the foot end - rather difficult for the price paid. It was tolerable that no third towels were available, but that there was a lot of hair in bed and shower, rather disgusting. The sink ran off very slowly and there was no code available for the safe, which is why we were given the central key - how many of these were there with other guests? . Except for the location - although the room did not offer a view of the Limmatquai - a stay that we would rather not repeat! (The CHF 45 per day for the underground car park should also be taken into account by all those arriving by car)

The hotel was clean. Facilities were luxurious. Great location right by trams, vehicles & the taxi rank. The cafe was always a good sign in Switzerland. The venue was ideally located very close to the train station as well as the shopping street.

Excellent location within walking distance (literally cross the bridge) from the station, respectively from Bahnhofstrasse, from the COOP supermarket, from the old town. The rooms are private, each one has a celebrity name written on it and the room has information about this person. I was lucky to live in room 31 - his windows overlooked the quay of the river Limat, which flows into Lake Zurich, from the window there was a beautiful view of the old city. Breakfast is simple but nourishing: different kinds of cereal and muesli with milk, 2 kinds of cheese, 2 kinds of meat: sausage and ham, boiled eggs, butter and jams.
There was a kettle in the description. The kettle wasn't in the room.

located near to central railway station
entry was through bar area and with suitcases and stairs was awkward-we initially could not find entrance and were frustrated at finally having to ask at the bar if we were in the right place noisy as room was on 1st floor above street level mouldy shower/ bathroom area needs update hairdryer over sink a safety issues staff operating bar/cafe with limited time to take time with check in very much overpriced for size, quality of room/facilities and service

Decent size room. Loved the view from the windows directly over the river. So many restaurants to choose from and so close by. Loved the walk around the river. Light breakfast was included.
We were told a child under 6 could sleep for free but there were only 2 single beds - a double/queen would have been better. Directly over the cafes and a taxi stand which were very noisy all night. We had to close the windows against the noise but it got too hot to be able to sleep. Open the windows and the noise stopped us sleeping. Police station is just across the river and reagrdless of thetime of night or lack of vehicles on the road they always use their sirens!

Very convenient to the train station, tourist sites, restaurants, etc.
Very small and very hot in the rooms. Can be noisy in the evenings owing to bars/restaurants outside.

Location was great for access to station and downtown.
While we had no problem, The fact that the first floor is a cafe/bar could make noise and cigarette smoke an issue for people staying on weekend nights.

Friendly service. Located right downtown with restaurants and shopping close by. Close to Central Train station, waterside view from the room with a large patio if room located on 1st floor.
Located at the second floor of a bar and a very noisy back street. No a/c, so the room gets quite hot. Cannot sleep with patio door open because of noise. Triple room is really designed for two people and very small.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
